The Independents Beer Crawl, in back for it's fourth year! Taking place from Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th November 2025, this four-day event celebrates Brighton’s incredible independent venues — from taprooms and pubs to bars and bottle shops — with a city-wide beer trail sponsored by the brilliant Verdant Brewing Co. ​ Over the weekend, participants can explore Brighton’s best indie venues, collect stamps, and enjoy some of the latest and greatest beers from one of the UK’s most loved breweries. Expect plenty of fresh Verdant releases, plus two brand-new collaboration beers brewed in partnership with Rivington Brewing Co. — created exclusively for this year’s trail. ​

How It Works Pick up your free trail map from any participating venue.

Visit the venues, enjoy Verdant beers on tap, and collect stamps. Complete your trail to win prizes. The aim of the trail is simple — to encourage beer lovers to discover new venues, try something fresh, and celebrate Brighton’s thriving independent scene. ​​ The event is organised by Independent Events Brighton, Verdant’s local partner for the trail. We’ll be providing full marketing support to both Verdant and participating venues, while Verdant will work directly with venues on product supply.

Grab your stamp map—available now at all participating venues—and get ready to explore!

Every time you buy a beer from one of the 15 local breweries during the festival dates, you'll get a stamp.

5 stamps = 1 prize draw entry 10 stamps = 2 entries 15 stamps = 3 entries 20 stamps = 4 entries Fill your card = 6 entries (yep, that's a bonus entry!)

Please note: Stamp cards will only be stamped during the festival dates—14th to 17th August. But don't wait until then to check out these amazing venues—we encourage everyone to start exploring and supporting them now. They’re well worth a visit year-round.

Once your card is complete, you can enter the prize draw by either:- Taking a photo of your card and tagging us on Instagram, or- Dropping it off at The Rook Taproom (Dean St) or The Independent Taproom (Queens Park Road)

Deadline for submissions is midnight on 24th August.

Winners will be announced week commencing 8th September. 

What’s in it for you?
