Across Brighton’s Best Independent Venues
This August, we teamed up with 27 brilliant venues and 15 local breweries to celebrate the incredible independent beer scene in and around Brighton.
The Festival Map will guided locals through the city's finest independent spots – all champions of local beer and community spirit.
Collecting stamps along the way for a chance to win prizes, we discovered new favourites and raised a glass to Brighton's best in class.

How It Works
Grab your stamp map—available now at all participating venues—and get ready to explore!
Every time you buy a beer from one of the 15 local breweries during the festival dates, you'll get a stamp.
5 stamps = 1 prize draw entry
10 stamps = 2 entries
Fill your card = 6 entries total!
Please note: Stamp cards will only be stamped during the festival dates—14th to 17th August. But don't wait until then to check out these amazing venues—we encourage everyone to start exploring and supporting them now. They’re well worth a visit year-round.
Once your card is complete, you can enter the prize draw by either:
- Taking a photo of your card and tagging us on Instagram, or
- Dropping it off at The Rook Taproom (Dean St) or The Independent Taproom (Queens Park Road)
- or email a photo of your stamp card to: localsbeerfest@gmail.com
Deadline for submissions is midnight on 24th August.
Winners will be announced week commencing 8th September.
What’s in it for you?
Though the real prize is supporting your local independent businesses, each venue is also contributing something to the PRIZE DRAW —whether it’s a pint, a meal voucher, or some merch—so there are at least 27 prizes up for grabs! (We’ll be sharing more about the prizes soon) This festival is all about supporting local, trying new things, and celebrating the community that makes Brighton so brilliant.
